The artwork
The artwork consists of a montage of sixteen photographs and introspective videos, in which each participant becomes an active viewer of the Lifeshot, on an intimate and emotional journey.
The "Vivere ad Arte" initiative is part of the UpTown Luogo d'Arte project, a collaboration between UpTown Milano and Deodato Arte.
It featured the renowned street artist Mr. SaveTheWall, creator of the Lifeshot, a participatory art performance through which the artist translated the stories of UpTown residents into intense and authentic visual narratives.
The true protagonists of the Lifeshot "Vivere ad Arte" are the residents of UpTown, each with different ages, backgrounds, histories and profiles. One common thread: their bond with the neighbourhood.
